Material Traceability

1234 have significant experience in the fabrication of corrosion-resistant metals and specialty alloys. In addition, our sister company, 1234, provides advanced chemical-resistant glass lining technology — ideally suited for reactors, receivers, and storage tanks across various industrial applications.

1234 brings significant expertise in the fabrication of corrosion-resistant metals and alloys, ensuring durability and reliability across a wide range of industrial applications. In addition to metal fabrication, 1234 also offers advanced chemical-resistant glass lining technology — an ideal solution for reactors, receivers, and storage tanks used in highly corrosive processing environments. This dual capability allows 1234 to provide tailored, high-performance solutions that meet stringent industry standards.

Our typical materials of construction include
  • Stainless steels (304, 304L, 316, 316L, etc.)
  • Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steels
  • Nickel and nickel-based alloys (Inconel®, Hastelloy®, Monel®, etc.)

  • Titanium and its alloys
  • Tantalum and Zirconium
  • Glass-lined carbon steel

Material Traceability & Compliance

At 1234 Engineering Industries, material traceability is a fundamental requirement in the manufacture of pressure vessels for international markets. We ensure full compliance by sourcing all materials exclusively from reputable and approved suppliers. Our robust procurement and quality systems mandate that all purchased materials are accompanied by complete certification and documentation. Upon arrival at our Goods-In department, materials undergo thorough verification against purchase specifications and certification records.Where required, we further reinforce this process with non-contact chemical analysis to confirm that the supplied material composition matches the provided certifications.

Heat/Cast No, Transfer

Material documentation and heat/cast number transfer instructions are systematically recorded within the company’s business system and linked to the specific job. These critical traceability details are automatically printed on the Manufacturing Method Sheet and form an integral part of the Job Traveller a comprehensive documentation pack that accompanies the product throughout every stage of the manufacturing process. This ensures full traceability and compliance with relevant industry and customer requirements.
